An Oklahoma lawmaker said Thursday he plans to file legislation next year to further overhaul the state's workers' compensation system by reducing attorney involvement and providing tax incentives to businesses to promote workplace safety.
Rep. Mark McCullough, R-Sapulpa, outlined his proposal earlier this week at a legislative hearing that also heard a recommendation for creating 24-hour care system as an alternative to workers' compensation coverage.
