Missouri Asks AIA to Launch Check of Closed Funds

Nineteen states have shut down their Second Injury Funds since 1992, the American Insurance Association on Thursday told a panel of state lawmakers who are considering making their state No. 20. An interim committee of the Missouri Legislature enlisted the help of the AIA to track decisions by other states to close their Second Injury Funds.
