Baa2 Rating Assigned To Zurich Debt, Moody's

Moody's Investors Service Limited announced yesterday that it will assign Baa2 subordinated debt ratings to the forthcoming two subordinated debt issues totaling approximately US $1bn equivalent announced by the Zurich Financial Services Group, subject to review of final documentation. The issuing entities will be Zurich Finance (UK) Limited and Zurich Finance (USA), Inc., both of which are guaranteed on a subordinated basis by Zurich Insurance Company (ZIC).
