The Washington Governor's Industrial Safety and Health Advisory Board is asking for nominations of Washington workers for the governor's annual lifesaving awards.
All Washington workers covered by the workers' compensation system or a self-insured employer are eligible for the lifesaving nomination.
The nominee must have performed "hands-on" aid in saving a life.
For law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and other emergency aid professionals, the lifesaving action must be "above and beyond the line of duty."
