Committee Withdraws Opioid Regulations for More Study

The Physicians Advisory Committee to the Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Court decided Friday to withdraw proposed regulations dealing with opioid prescriptions in order to give the proposal additional study, a court staff attorney reported. Bill Wiles said the committee had approved the regulations after a public hearing on Sept. 29. "They were going to send it to the court administrator for adoption but they determined they wanted to study it a bit more before they did so," Wiles said.
