The Physicians Advisory Committee to the Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Court decided Friday to withdraw proposed regulations dealing with opioid prescriptions in order to give the proposal additional study, a court staff attorney reported.
Bill Wiles said the committee had approved the regulations after a public hearing on Sept. 29.
"They were going to send it to the court administrator for adoption but they determined they wanted to study it a bit more before they did so," Wiles said.
