California's labor-and-management workers' compensation advisory board is hosting a conference on preparing workplaces for catastrophes in San Francisco on April 7.
The one-day forum is designed to give health, safety and workers' compensation professionals an opportunity to discuss and share ideas for safety in responding to terrorist attacks and natural disasters, learn lessons from other experiences and consider areas where improvements need to be made, according to the sponsor, the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation (CHSWC).
