Providers File to Halt Repackaged-Drug Pricing Rule

A Bay Area provider group tried and failed last week to block the repackaged-drug price cap from taking effect, but its attorney will renew the fight next week in an Oakland courtroom. Attorney Bo Thoreen represents Sentinel Health Medical Group, a group of occupational medical providers who are attempting to halt the new repackaged-drug regulations that set the price at Medicare levels, plus a dispensing fee to the doctors.
