DIR Re-Adopts Emergency MPN Regs

The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has issued a notice of re-adoption of the emergency medical provider network regulations effective March 1, 2005. DIR is re-adopting Article 3.5 of Chapter 4.5, Subchapter 1, of Title 8, California Code of Regulations, commencing with Section 9767.1. The action is necessary in order to implement, on an emergency basis, the provisions of Labor Code sections 4616 through 4616.7, as implemented by Senate Bill 899 (Chapter 34, stats. of 2004, effective April 19, 2004).
