Former SAFECO Examiner Arrested for Fraud

The California Department of Insurance (CDI) Fraud Division announced that On March 20, 2003, Sheila Nicholson, 29, was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail on four counts of grand theft, nine counts of insurance fraud, and one count of conspiracy. On March 10, 2003, Cory Weaver, 39, Nicholson's fiance, was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada and extradited to California on one count of grand theft, one count of insurance fraud, and one count of conspiracy.
