AHCS Files Defamation Suit Against Blog Author Joe Paduda

Automated Healthcare Solutions (AHCS) has filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Health Care Strategy Associates principal Joseph Paduda based on postings in his blog, Managed Care Matters.The South Florida-based firm said in the lawsuit that Paduda mischaracterized the nature of its business as a drug "repackager" and damaged the reputation of its top executives.Paduda wrote about AHCS in postings on Sept. 2 and Sept. 9 concerning the debate over prescription drugs that are repackaged from the original manufacturers and sold to physicians.
