Use of technology to combat fraud in the insurance industry should increase in coming years, but fewer than half of insurance companies participating in a study of such anti-fraud measures now use the techniques, such as workflow routing, text mining, predictive modeling and geographic data mapping, according to a report from the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud.
