Stan Kroenke desperately wanted to move his National Football League franchise to Southern Califonia, but he apparently has no desire to deal with the state's workers' compensation system.
The NFL allowed Kroenke to move the Rams from St. Louis to Los Angeles for the 2016 season. But while the team is returning to California, contracts offered to players require them to file workers' compensation claims in Missouri, according to a report by NBC Sports.
