ICW Group Insurance Cos. announced the addition of Michael Wheaton as director of customer experience.
Wheaton brings more than 15 years of experience to the new position ICW Group said was created to develop its customer service.
He joins ICW Group from Alliant Credit Union in Illinois, where he was the senior manager of member experience design and insights.
Wheaton holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
ICW Group said it is working to fill other new positions in the customer experience department, including contact center manager, director of customer relationship management, and customer relationship management implementation specialist. ICW is also working to fill positions in its enterprise marketing department, including director of channel marketing, marketing manager and marketing operations specialist.
ICW Group Insurance Cos., based in San Diego, represents a group of property, auto and workers’ compensation insurance carriers, including Insurance Co. of the West and Explorer Insurance Co.
