Workers’ compensation defense firm Goldberg Segalla added Letal Algazy as a partner in its work comp practice group in Garden City.

Algazy brings more than 14 years of experience representing self-insured employers, carriers and third-party administrators to the position. She also has experience litigating matters involving general liability, personal injury, toxic torts, product liability and construction site accidents, the firm said in a statement.

Most recently Algazy worked at Cherry, Edson & Kelly LLP in Melville.

Algazy earned her bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York at Albany and her law degree from New York Law School.
