The owner of a janitorial company in Pennsylvania has been charged with forging workers’ compensation insurance documents, The Times-Tribune reported.
Service Boss owner Herbert McKingley, of Bartonsville, contracted with Scranton Preparatory School in 2013 and allegedly provided documents that he said proved he had active coverage, the newspaper reported.
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Task Force said the documents were forged, however.
McKingley’s preliminary hearing will be Tuesday on two counts each of insurance fraud, forgery and failure to comply, the newspaper reported. He was arraigned Wednesday and was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
