Montana’s Labor-Management Advisory Council will continue debating the possibility of adopting a prescription drug formulary when it meets Tuesday.
The council has been discussing a workers’ compensation formulary since at least 2015 when state lawmakers failed to pass a bill that would have required the Department of Labor and Industry to develop a list of drugs that are approved for injured workers.
Council members are also scheduled to discuss House Bill 449, which allows board, lodging and rent to be considered “wages,” that Gov. Steve Bullock signed into law in May.
LMAC is also slated to discuss a survey of injured workers as well as its annual report during the meeting.
The council meets from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone.
A meeting agenda is here.
