The Washington state Department of Labor and Industries said vocational providers must use CTS Language Link for telephonic interpretation services.
The department said providers can start using over-the-phone interpreters to speak with injured workers who have limited proficiency in English, starting Jan. 1. L&I also said the state Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with CTS Language Link to provide the services.
Providers can request telephonic interpretation by calling 844-303-7212 or by visiting the company’s website at www.ctslanguagelink.com.
When requesting interpretation services, the providers must supply a claim number, language needed and the worker’s name.
