Thursday, August 22, 2019 | 282 | 0

Industry professionals invited to a full day event to learn about important issues in the Texas worker's comp system

Worker's Compensation is facing changes with new trends in technology, legislation, and safety measures; ICT is here to help industry professionals keep up with these evolving trends. The ICT 2019 Workers' Compensation Conference is a full day session open to anyone with an interest in learning more about the industry.

On Thursday, September 19, at Austin's Hilton Hotel, industry professionals, attorneys, and regulators meet to listen to experts about emerging developments impacting the Texas workers' compensation system.

The conference comes on the heels of another legislative session that saw significant attention shed on worker's compensation. This year's conference features a variety of topics presented by industry leaders on topics ranging from workplace violence and catastrophic claims to expanded benefits for certain classes of workers.

Breakfast, lunch and a closing reception provide ample opportunity to connect with colleagues. Our new conference location, in the heart of Austin, allows you to enjoy your time before and after the session.

This event has been planned to maximize CE/CLE accreditation. ICT has requested approval for 5.0 continuing legal education hours from the Texas State Bar and 6.0 continuing education hours from the Texas Department of Insurance which includes 1.25 CE hours of ethics.
