Brandon, FL (September 27, 2022) - ReEmployAbility is pleased to announce that it will sponsor and present at the Comp Laude Awards & Gala October 2-4, 2022. This year, in addition to the virtual event, it will return in person at Pasea Hotel & Spa in Huntington, California.

The Comp Laude® Awards & Gala is an annual event hosted by WorkCompCentral and designed to bring together all stakeholders in the workers' compensation industry. The event includes two days of educational sessions, the People's Choice Awards, Kids' Chance 5K WalkRun, and networking events.

This event was created based on the vision of WorkCompCentral's late founder, David DePaulo. DePaulo sought to create opportunities for workers' compensation industry stakeholders to come together, share ideas, and tell their stories to further improvement within the industry. To execute that vision, the Comp Laude Awards & Gala's mission is "to change the narrative of the workers' compensation industry to a more positive one."

"Storytelling is one of the most powerful means that leaders have to influence, teach, and inspire. These fit perfectly with the mission of Comp Laude and the vision David DePaulo had for our industry. I am honored to sponsor this event that helps to forge connections and engagement between people and ideas," said ReEmployAbility CEO Debra Livingston.

Last year Livingston shared her personal story as part of the People's Choice Awards and was selected as the winner of the award. This year, ReEmployAbility Account Executive, Natalie Torres, will be participating in the People's Choice Award to share her story entitled, "It's All Perfect Already."

"I learned the power of story by sharing my own story in this forum," said Livingston. "That experience helped me develop new connections and deepen existing relationships. Even more, it gave people insight into who I really am. I am excited for Natalie to share her story because I know firsthand the impact of that experience and the response she will receive."
