Louisiana, Mississippi Latest States Mulling Work Comp Adjuster Licenses

Louisiana is moving closer to adoption of a bill that would require licensing for workers’ compensation claim adjusters, a step that would bring a bit more consistency to the patchwork of licensing requirements across the U.S. Senate Bill 266 by Gerald Long, R-Winnfield, has cleared the state Senate and received an 8-0 favorable vote from the House Insurance Committee on Wednesday.
