Old Republic International Corp. has reported net income of $113 million for the first quarter of this year, an 8.1% decrease from $123 million in the prior-year quarter.
In the General Insurance Group, net premiums earned increased 3.3% in the first quarter, to $743 million. But the positive general insurance earned premiums trend was unevenly distributed among various insurance coverages and sources of business, the company said in a news release.
