House Lawmakers Working to Pass Formulary Bill

Republican lawmakers in Pennsylvania are working to pass legislation supported by 27 business and insurance groups that would mandate adoption of a workers' compensation drug formulary.  Rep. Rob Kauffman, R-Chambersburg, chairman of the House Labor & Industry Committee, said Wednesday that he and other supporters of the measure are taking a deliberative approach to pave the way for smooth passage as early as January.
