A California appellate court upheld an award of restitution to an injured prison worker for the overtime pay he lost as a result of his injuries from an assault by an inmate.

Facts: While Gray Bond Gracy was confined in state prison, he punched Andrew Jones, a prison nurse, in the face several times. Jones suffered a left eye contusion and lumbar strain in the attack.
