The Arizona House of Representatives on Thursday unanimously concurred in amendments made to a bill authorizing carriers to offer some policyholders a discount for belonging to a trade association, clearing the way for the bill to be sent to the governor.
The House voted 59-0 to pass an amended version of House Bill 2204 that the Senate voted 21-7 to pass April 1.
The bill by Rep. David Livingston, R-Peoria, would allow carriers to offer a premium discount of up to 5% for policyholders that belong to a trade association.
