The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited two construction contractors after a worker at a Miami Beach construction site fell from an elevated platform and died.
GA&L Construction Corp. Inc., of Doral, Florida, faces proposed penalties of $43,569 in connection with the citations, which OSHA issued on June 11. The Rinaldi Group of Florida LLC is facing a proposed fine of $43,758.
The contractors have 15 business days to contest the citations.
