Mileage Reimbursement Rate Climbs to 65.5 Cents

Injured workers in California will be reimbursed 65.5 cents per mile for any travel related to medical treatment or the evaluation of injuries after Jan. 1. The California Workers’ Compensation Institute reported that the IRS raised the standard mileage rate for businesses to 65.5 cents per mile from 62.5 cents per mile.
