The California Labor Commissioner's Office awarded roughly $855,000 in unpaid wages to four truckers working out of the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the Justice for Port Drivers campaign announced last week.
Each driver received an average of $214,000 after filing Wage and Hour claims with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. The drivers work for XPO Cartage, a division of the publicly traded transportation company XPO Logistics.
