Man Pleads No Contest to Charges in Premium Fraud Scheme

A Northern California man who operated a company that was used to launder millions of dollars in payroll for a security firm as part of a work comp premium fraud scheme pleaded no contest to insurance fraud and money laundering charges. The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said Nam Le, 52, operated Defense Protection Group to launder payroll for Atlas Private Security — now Genesis Private Security — and VP Security.
