PAID Act to Streamline Settlement Introduced in Congress

Legislation intended to make it easier to identify secondary payers who might be owed money during the workers’ comp settlement process was introduced in Congress on Friday. Reps. Gus Bilirakis, R-Florida, and Ron Kind, D-Wisconsin, introduced H.R. 5881, also known as the Provide Accurate Information Directly, or PAID Act.
