Legislation intended to make it easier to identify secondary payers who might be owed money during the workers’ comp settlement process was introduced in Congress on Friday.
Reps. Gus Bilirakis, R-Florida, and Ron Kind, D-Wisconsin, introduced H.R. 5881, also known as the Provide Accurate Information Directly, or PAID Act. The bill was referred to the Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce committees.
