Bills that would require insurers to pay the full federal price on medical services given to injured workers at Brooke Army Medical Center have passed key committees and are on their way to the full chambers.
Senate Bill 935, sponsored by Sen. Kelly Hancock, R-North Richland Hills, was approved by the Senate Business and Commerce Committee Tuesday. A nearly identical bill, House Bill 2207, also passed the House Business and Industry Committee Tuesday after a hearing. Both have been placed on legislative calendars for a floor vote.
