The New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau announced that the insurance commissioner approved changes to the state’s statistical plan to change injury codes for vaccinations.
One amendment added nature of injury code “38” to tracking adverse reactions to a vaccination or inoculation.
A second change updated the description for cause of injury code “82” to reference vaccinations.
The changes apply to accidents occurring on or after Dec. 1, 2020.
