DWC Announces Medical Fee Conversion Factors for 2018

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation has announced new medical fee guideline conversion factors for services provided in calendar year 2018, A new conversion factor of $58.31 will apply to service categories of evaluation and management, general medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology, pathology, anesthesia, and surgery performed in an office setting.   A conversion factor of $73.19 will apply to surgery performed in a facility setting.
