Texas Mutual Insurance Co., the largest workers' compensation carrier in Texas, supports legislation recommended by the Office of Injured Employee Counsel, which would extend judicial review deadlines, from 45 to 90 days.
The OIEC also is suggesting that funding be considered to compensate physicians for medical causation letters so that injured workers won't have to foot the bill.
