A former New York corrections officer who took more than $35,000 in workers' compensation indemnity benefits to which he was not entitled pleaded guilty Thursday to insurance fraud and grand larceny, both felonies.
Charles Epps, 56, of Buffalo, entered his plea in Erie County Court, according to an announcement from the New York State Inspector General's Office.
