Two owners of taxi and transport companies have been sentenced in connection with an elaborate scheme to defraud the New York Medicaid program and workers' compensation insurers, and two more have pleaded guilty.
Khurram Gondal, 39, of Ticonderoga, was one of several owners of Four-Way Taxi, Green Mountain Medical Transportation, Capital Cab Corp. and a limousine service. He was sentenced last week to time already served and to two years of supervised release.
