A New York appellate court partially overturned a grant of summary judgment to a property owner in a worker's claim for falling through a temporary plywood floor. Case: Estrella v. ZRHLE Holdings LLC, No. 2020-05547, 07/19/2023, published. Facts: In 2015, ZRHLE Holdings LLC began renovation on a property it owned in Brooklyn. It hired J.D. Developers as the general contractor for the project.
