With Tuesday's election over and the clock ticking toward the expiration of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, a coalition of about 50 businesses, insurance companies and advocacy groups have entered into a final effort to get the House of Representatives to reauthorize the program.
The coalition sent an open letter to representatives John Boehner, R-Ohio; Nancy Pelosi, D-California; Kevin McCarthy, R-California; and Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, on Wednesday urging them to act on the measure before the act expires at the end of December.
