Non-profit Workers May not be Eligible for WC Benefits

A bill in the North Carolina legislature that would change the definition of a nonprofit employee in regard to collecting workers’ compensation benefits passed the House last week and has been referred to committee by the Senate.  House Bill 760, also called the Regulatory Reform Act, was filed mid-April.
