DWC Releases Annual Report on State's Fatal Occupational Injuries

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation has released its annual report on fatal work-related injuries. The report is released each year to help employers, safety professionals and policymakers identify occupational safety and health issues and trends. The report is the latest data available from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries. CFOI fatality counts exclude illness-related deaths unless caused by an injury event. COVID-19-related deaths are not included in the findings.
