The South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission has approved a revision to the Medical Services Provider Manual scheduled to take effect on July 1, according to a commission release.
The revision to the provider fee schedule reflects 2015 Resource-Based Relative Value Scale relative values and current procedural terminology codes. The conversion factor for the fee schedule will remain at $50 after Optum Insight performed an analysis indicated that the $50 conversion factor would meet cost neutrality goals.
