Permanent disability awards could not be apportioned for pregnancy, breast cancer, menopause or osteoporosis under a bill sponsored by the California Applicants' Attorneys Association.
AB 305, by Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, D-San Diego, would also proscribe apportionment in cases of psychiatric injury "based on psychiatric disability or impairment caused by sexual harassment" or that is caused by the four enumerated conditions.
