The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation is proposing to allow designated doctors to examine as many as four injured workers in one day instead of the current limit of one.
The agency on Friday released an informal working draft of proposed rules that also would require workers with complex injuries to see board-certified specialists. The division is asking for stakeholder comments by Sept. 1.
