Members of Oregon’s Management-Labor Advisory Committee will discuss bills that would modify the definition of payroll, change how independent medical examinations are scheduled and modify employee definitions, during a meeting Friday.
Senate Bill 607, by Sen. Tim Knopp, R-Bend, would exclude paid sick leave when carriers calculate an employer’s payroll to determine premiums owed.
Senate Bill 780, introduced by the Senate Business and Transportation Committee, would require that physicians be randomly selected to perform independent medical examinations.
