Healing Arts Board Elects New Leaders

Physicians from St. Louis and Springfield have been elected to leadership positions at the State Board of Registration for Healing Arts, the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration reports. Dr. Jeffrey Carter of St. Louis was elected president, and Dr. Benjamin Lampert was elected secretary.The two physicians were elected by fellow members during the board's July 21 meeting in Jefferson City.Carter is a board-certified anesthesiologist with Ballas Anesthesia in St. Louis and practices at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
