A Colorado lawmaker is making another run at ensuring injured workers are compensated for mental impairments with a bill clarifying when employers must provide benefits for psychologically traumatic events under the state’s comp system.
Rep. Jonathan Singer, D-Boulder, introduced House Bill 1229, which would require that injured workers rely on testimony from a licensed psychiatrist or psychologist to prove mental impairment claims.
