Governor Appoints Thomas Lee Bruner to WCC

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte appointed Thomas Lee Bruner to serve on the Workers’ Compensation Court. Bruner has served as deputy clerk of the Montana Supreme Court since January 2019. Before that, he was an attorney in private practice for more than 20 years. Giantforte said in a statement that Bruner will ensure fair, consistent and objective application of Montana’s workers’ compensation laws.  The governor also said he received positive public comments about Bruner during a 30-day public comment period that closed Aug. 4.
