WCIRB Governing Committee Meets Wednesday

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau’s Governing Committee will meet Wednesday to discuss the 2023 advisory pure premium rate for California policies incepting after Sept. 1. The WCIRB plans to submit its annual rate recommendation to the Department of Insurance by the end of April.  Governing Committee members will hear a presentation on the discussion and recommendations from the Actuarial Committee’s discussion of the advisory rate, and committee members will likely vote on a recommended rate during the meeting.
