New reimbursement rates for doctors, hospital outpatient services and ambulatory surgical centers are now in the final stages of review, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation announced.
The changes to rates and fee schedules for 2021 were proposed in October, and stakeholders provided fewer than a dozen comments. State law requires the BWC to now undertake a “common sense initiative” review to ensure the changes are reasonable and easily understood.
