The New York Workers' Compensation Board is changing the forms used to file objections to administrative and proposed decisions.
“We have noticed that when an objection is not placed in the designated area on the AD or PD form, it can be misrouted, which leads to delays and confusion as to whether an AD or PD has become final,” the board said in a notice emailed this week.
Effective Feb. 1, objections must be stated in the designated space on the form, and the board's case number must be included in the objection.
