The Oregon Court of Appeals overturned a denial of a worker’s request for his osteoarthritis to be treated as a new or omitted condition arising out of a knee injury from a fall. Case: In the Matter of the Compensation of Gibson, Nos. 1904433, 1901856, 1901393, 1805238 and A174561, 01/05/2022, published. Facts: Terry Gibson worked for Georgia Pacific Consumer Product. He slipped and fell at work, hurting his knee. GP accepted liability for a non-disabling knee strain.
